2. Topladığımız Veriler
2.1 Hesap Bilgileri
Kayıt sırasında aşağıdaki bilgileri topluyoruz:
- Ad ve soyad (isteğe bağlı)
- E-posta adresi
- Şifreli parola (bcrypt ile şifrelenerek saklanır; düz metin olarak asla tutulmaz)
- Google ile giriş tercih edilmişse: Google hesap kimliği ve profil adı
2.2 Uygulama İçi Veriler
Uygulamayı kullandıkça oluşturulan içerikler:
- Yemek planları, öğünler ve tarif bilgileri
- Alışveriş listeleri ve stok kayıtları
- Besin değeri hedefleri ve takip verileri
- Hane üyeliği ve davet bilgileri
- Tarif havuzuna yüklenen fotoğraflar
- Metin tanıma (OCR) ile fotoğraftan tarif oluşturmak için yüklenen fotoğraflar — tarif kaydedilmese de yüklenen görsel sunucumuzda kalır
- Envanter (stok) kayıtlarına eklenen fotoğraflar
- Alışveriş fişi fotoğrafları (yüklenirse)
2.3 Teknik Veriler
- IP adresi (güvenlik kaydı ve hız sınırlama için)
- Tarayıcı türü ve işletim sistemi (hata tespiti için)
- Uygulama ve güvenlik günlükleri — kötüye kullanımı önlemek, kimlik doğrulama ve hata tespiti amacıyla kullanıcı adı, e-posta ve IP adresi gibi tanımlayıcılar içerebilir (§5 uyarınca 90 gün saklanır)
- Kayıt kaydı — hesap oluşturma isteğinin IP adresi, tarayıcı/cihaz tanıtım metni (User-Agent), kaydın oluşturulma zamanı ve (varsa) Google oturum kimliğinizden geri döndürülemez şekilde özetlenerek üretilen takma adlandırılmış bir hesap tanımlayıcısı — yönetici tarafından açılan hesaplarda böyle bir tanımlayıcı yoktur. Yalnızca kötüye kullanımı önlemek (tekrarlayan kayıt tespiti) amacıyla tutulur ve §5 uyarınca 90 gün saklanır.
2.4 Yapay Zeka İşleme
Yapay zeka ile plan oluşturma iki şekilde çalışır: kendi API anahtarınızı eklediyseniz (BYO — Kendi Anahtarını Getir) istekler sizin sağlayıcı hesabınız üzerinden yapılır; eklemediyseniz istekler Plateby'nin kendi sağlayıcı anahtarlarıyla yapılır ve hesabınızın haftalık öğün hakkından düşer. Her iki durumda da plan oluşturma sırasında yemek adları ve besin tercihleriniz üçüncü taraf yapay zeka sağlayıcılarına (OpenRouter, Groq, Anthropic, Google Gemini) iletilir. Bu tercihler diyet, sağlık veya inanç bilgisi (ör. alerjenler, hariç tutulan malzemeler, helal/vejetaryen tercihler) içerebileceğinden KVKK kapsamında özel nitelikli kişisel veri sayılabilir ve yalnızca açık rızanızla, yalnızca plan oluşturma amacıyla işlenir.
2.5 Abonelik ve Satın Alma Verileri
Plateby Pro aboneliği Google Play üzerinden satılır. Ödeme bilgileriniz (kart numarası, fatura adresi vb.) Plateby'ye hiçbir zaman ulaşmaz; ödemeyi Google alır ve işler. Aboneliğinizi doğrulamak ve sürdürmek için Google Play'den aldığımız ve sunucumuzda sakladığımız veriler şunlardır:
- Satın alma jetonu (purchase token) ve Google sipariş numarası
- Ürün ve plan kimliği (aylık / yıllık)
- Abonelik durumu (etkin, iptal edilmiş, ödemesi gecikmiş vb.), bitiş tarihi, satın almanın onaylanıp onaylanmadığı ve Google'dan gelen son abonelik olayının zamanı
Bu veriler yalnızca Pro erişiminizi açmak, yenileme ve iptalleri takip etmek ve satın alma uyuşmazlıklarını çözmek için kullanılır; reklam hedeflemesi veya profilleme amacıyla kullanılmaz.
2.6 Reklam Verileri
Plateby'nin mobil uygulaması ücretsiz hesaplarda reklam gösterir; reklamlar Google AdMob üzerinden sunulur (ekranın altında sabit bir banner ve plan oluşturulurken bekleme sırasında tam ekran bir reklam). plateby.app üzerindeki web sürümünde reklam yoktur ve Plateby Pro aboneliği etkinken uygulama hiçbir reklam isteği yapmaz. Bir reklam istendiğinde aşağıdaki veriler doğrudan Google'a ulaşır; Plateby'nin sunucusu bunların hiçbirini görmez ve saklamaz:
- Reklam kimliği (Advertising ID /
AD_ID): Android'in cihaz başına verdiği, ayarlardan sıfırlanabilen reklam tanımlayıcısı. Uygulama bu izni (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) Google Mobile Ads SDK'sı ile birlikte bildirir.
- IP adresi, cihaz ve uygulama bilgisi: Her ağ isteğinde olduğu gibi IP adresiniz Google'a ulaşır ve Google bundan ülke/bölge düzeyinde yaklaşık bir konum çıkarabilir; ayrıca cihaz modeli, işletim sistemi sürümü, ekran boyutu ve uygulama sürümü reklam isteğiyle birlikte gönderilir.
- Reklam etkileşimi: Bir reklamın gösterilip gösterilmediği, kapatılması ve tıklanması.
- Yükleme kaynağı ve ölçüm arayüzleri: SDK, Google Play yükleme kaynağını okuma iznini (
BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE) ve Android'in reklam ölçümü arayüzlerini (ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_CUSTOM_AUDIENCE) bildirir; bunlar Google tarafından reklam ölçümü ve sahtecilik önleme için kullanılır.
Plateby hesabınızdaki içerik reklam ağına gönderilmez. Yemek planlarınız, tarifleriniz, besin tercihleriniz, e-posta adresiniz, hane bilgileriniz ve abonelik kaydınız AdMob'a hiçbir biçimde iletilmez; reklamlar bu verilere göre hedeflenmez. Plateby, Google'dan yalnızca kişi bazında ayrıştırılamayan toplu gösterim ve gelir raporları alır.
Rıza (AEA — Avrupa Ekonomik Alanı ve Birleşik Krallık): Bu bölgelerde ilk reklam isteğinden önce Google'ın UMP (User Messaging Platform) rıza formu gösterilir; seçiminiz Google tarafından cihazınızda saklanır. Rıza verilmezse uygulama hiçbir reklam isteği yapmaz ve diğer tüm özellikleriyle çalışmaya devam eder. Google'ın rıza formu gerektirmediği yerlerde form gösterilmez ve reklamlar ücretsiz sürümün bir parçası olarak sunulur (§4).
3. Verilerin Kullanım Amacı
Topladığımız veriler yalnızca şu amaçlarla kullanılır:
- Hesabınızın oluşturulması ve yönetimi
- Yemek planı, alışveriş listesi ve tarif hizmetlerinin sunulması
- Hane paylaşım özelliğinin çalıştırılması
- Güvenlik, doğrulama ve hız sınırlama işlemleri
- Uygulama performansının izlenmesi ve hata giderimi
- Ücretsiz mobil sürümde reklam gösterimi (§2.6)
- Yasal yükümlülüklerin yerine getirilmesi
Hesabınızdaki içerikler — planlarınız, tarifleriniz ve besin tercihleriniz — reklam hedeflemesinde kullanılmaz ve hiçbir veriniz üçüncü taraflara satılmaz. Uygulamada gösterilen reklamlar için hangi verilerin işlendiği §2.6'da ayrıca açıklanmıştır.
4. Hukuki Dayanak (KVKK / GDPR)
Kişisel verilerinizi aşağıdaki hukuki dayanaklara göre işliyoruz:
- Sözleşmenin ifası: Hesap ve hizmet yönetimi için zorunlu veriler
- Meşru menfaat: Güvenlik, hata tespiti ve hizmet kalitesi
- Açık rıza: Opsiyonel bildirimler ve üçüncü taraf AI entegrasyonu
- Açık rıza (özel nitelikli veri): Diyet, sağlık veya inanç bilgisi içerebilen besin tercihlerinizin yapay zeka ile plan oluşturma için işlenmesi yalnızca açık rızanıza dayanır (KVKK m.6 / GDPR m.9).
- Reklam: AEA ve Birleşik Krallık'ta reklam gösterimi ve reklam kimliğinin işlenmesi, Google'ın UMP rıza formu üzerinden alınan rızanıza dayanır; rıza verilmezse reklam isteği yapılmaz (§2.6). Bu bölgelerin dışında reklamlar, ücretsiz sürümün sürdürülebilmesindeki meşru menfaate dayanarak gösterilir; reklamları tamamen kaldırmak için Plateby Pro aboneliği kullanılabilir.
5. Veri Saklama
- Hesap verileri, hesabınız aktif olduğu sürece saklanır.
- Hesabı sildiğinizde kişisel verileriniz 30 gün içinde kalıcı olarak silinir; istisnalar aşağıda açıklanan iki kayıttır: güvenlik ve kötüye kullanım önleme kayıtları (kendi 90 günlük süreleri dolduğunda silinir) ve abonelik kaydı (hesap bağı koparılarak yasal saklama süresince tutulur).
- Güvenlik günlükleri (IP adresi, oturum tarihleri) 90 gün saklanır.
- Kayıt kaydı (IP adresi, User-Agent, kayıt zamanı, takma adlandırılmış hesap tanımlayıcısı) kötüye kullanımı önlemek amacıyla 90 gün saklanır. Bu kayıt, hesabınızı silseniz de saklanmaya devam eder: hesabınızla bağlantısı koparılır ve 90 günün sonunda silinir.
- Alışveriş fişi görselleri yüklendiği tarihten itibaren 180 gün sonra otomatik olarak silinir.
- Reklam verileri Plateby tarafından hiç saklanmaz (§2.6): reklam isteği cihazınızdan doğrudan Google'a gider, sunucumuza uğramaz. Bu verilerin Google tarafındaki saklama süreleri Google'ın gizlilik politikasına tabidir. Cihazda saklanan tek iz, UMP'nin rıza kaydı ve son geçiş reklamının zaman damgasıdır (§7); ikisi de uygulamayı kaldırdığınızda silinir.
- Abonelik kaydı (satın alma jetonu, sipariş numarası, ürün/plan kimliği, abonelik durumu ve bitiş tarihi) muhasebe ve satın alma uyuşmazlıklarının çözümü amacıyla, ticari ve mali kayıtlar için öngörülen yasal saklama süresince tutulur. Hesabınızı sildiğinizde bu kaydın hesabınızla bağı koparılır (kullanıcı bağlantısı kaldırılır), kayıt ise satın alma geçmişi olarak kalır. Google Play'deki aboneliğinizin kendisi hesap silme ile iptal olmaz; iptali Play üzerinden yapmanız gerekir.
6. Veri Paylaşımı
Verilerinizi yalnızca şu durumlarda üçüncü taraflarla paylaşırız:
- Hane üyeleri: Aynı haneye dahil ettiğiniz kullanıcılar plan ve liste verilerinizi görebilir.
- AI sağlayıcıları (OpenRouter, Groq, Anthropic, Google Gemini): Plan oluşturmak için yemek adları ve besin tercihleriniz (diyet/sağlık/inanç bilgisi içerebilir) ilgili sağlayıcıya iletilir — BYO özelliği etkinse sizin API anahtarınızla, değilse Plateby'nin kendi anahtarıyla (§2.4).
- Çeviri hizmeti (MyMemory / Translated S.r.l. — AB / İtalya): Tarif ve öğün metinleri, seçtiğiniz dile çevrilmek üzere önbellekte bulunmadığında MyMemory API'sine gönderilir.
- E-posta gönderimi (Resend — AB / ABD): Doğrulama ve hesap bildirimi e-postaları Resend üzerinden iletilir.
- Anlık bildirim (Google FCM / Apple APNs — ABD): Push bildirimlerini etkinleştirdiyseniz, bildirimler ilgili platform bildirim servisleri üzerinden iletilir.
- Besin verisi (USDA FoodData Central — ABD): Besin değerlerini sorgulamak için yalnızca genel gıda adları iletilir; kişisel veri gönderilmez.
- Google Play (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC — AB / ABD): Plateby Pro aboneliğinin satın alınması, yenilenmesi ve iptali Google Play üzerinden yürütülür; ödemeyi Google alır. Satın alma sırasında, satın almayı hesabınızla eşleştirebilmek için Plateby hesap tanımlayıcınız Google Play'e iletilir. Aboneliğinizin geçerliliğini doğrulamak için satın alma jetonu Google Play Developer API'sine iletilir ve Google abonelik durumu değişikliklerini sunucumuza bildirir.
- Google AdMob (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC — AB / ABD): Ücretsiz hesaplarda mobil uygulamada gösterilen reklamlar Google AdMob üzerinden sunulur. Reklam isteğiyle birlikte cihazınızın reklam kimliği (
AD_ID), IP adresiniz, cihaz/uygulama bilgisi ve reklam etkileşimi Google'a iletilir (§2.6). Hesabınızdaki içerik verileri iletilmez.
- Yasal zorunluluk: Mahkeme kararı veya yasal düzenleme gerektirdiğinde.
Analitik ve pazarlama amacıyla hiçbir üçüncü tarafla veri paylaşımı yapılmaz. Reklam amacıyla paylaşılan veriler yalnızca yukarıdaki Google AdMob satırında sayılanlardır; Plateby Pro aboneliği etkinken bu paylaşım hiç gerçekleşmez.
7. Çerezler ve Yerel Depolama
Plateby'nin web sitesinde ve uygulama arayüzünde reklam çerezi kullanılmaz; mobil uygulamadaki reklamlar çerezle değil, cihazın reklam kimliği üzerinden çalışır (§2.6). Yerel depolama (localStorage / IndexedDB / cihaz tercihleri) yalnızca şu amaçlarla kullanılır:
- Oturum token'ı (kimlik doğrulama için zorunlu)
- Dil tercihi
- Uygulama önbelleği (PWA çevrimdışı destek)
- Son geçiş reklamının zaman damgası — aynı reklamın çok sık gösterilmemesi için cihazda tutulur; sunucuya gönderilmez.
- UMP rıza kaydı — reklam rızanıza dair seçiminiz, Google Mobile Ads SDK'sı tarafından cihazınızda saklanır (§2.6).
8. Güvenlik
- Tüm iletişim HTTPS (TLS 1.2+) üzerinden şifrelenir.
- Parolalar bcrypt ile hashlenir, düz metin olarak asla saklanmaz.
- Kullanıcı tarafından girilen AI API anahtarları, sunucuda Fernet şifrelemesi (AES-128-CBC + HMAC-SHA256) ile korunur.
- Veritabanı yedekleri tutarlı bir döküm olarak alınır,
age ile şifrelenir ve üretim sunucusunun dışında (off-box) saklanır; geri yükleme düzenli olarak test edilir.
9. Kullanıcı Hakları
KVKK ve GDPR kapsamında aşağıdaki haklara sahipsiniz:
- Erişim: Hakkınızda tutulan verilerin bir kopyasını talep edebilirsiniz.
- Düzeltme: Yanlış veya eksik bilgilerin düzeltilmesini isteyebilirsiniz.
- Silme (Unutulma hakkı): Verilerinizin silinmesini talep edebilirsiniz.
- İşlemeye itiraz: Belirli işleme faaliyetlerine itiraz edebilirsiniz.
- Taşınabilirlik: Verilerinizi makine okunabilir formatta talep edebilirsiniz.
Bu haklarınızı kullanmak için [email protected] adresine yazın. Talepler 30 gün içinde yanıtlanır. Hesap silme işlemi doğrudan uygulama içi Ayarlar > Hesabı Sil menüsünden de yapılabilir.
10. Çocukların Gizliliği
Plateby, 13 yaşın altındaki kişilere yönelik değildir. 13 yaşın altındaki bir çocuğa ait verilerin toplandığını fark edersek, söz konusu verileri derhal sileriz.
11. Politika Değişiklikleri
Bu politikada yapılacak önemli değişiklikler, değişiklik tarihinden en az 7 gün önce uygulama içi bildirim veya e-posta ile duyurulacaktır. Güncel politika her zaman plateby.app/privacy adresinde yayınlanır.

1. Data Controller

2. Data We Collect
2.1 Account Information
At registration, we collect:
- First and last name (optional)
- Email address
- Password (stored as a bcrypt hash; never in plaintext)
- If signing in with Google: Google account ID and display name
2.2 In-App Content
Content created through use of the app:
- Meal plans, meals, and recipe data
- Shopping lists and pantry/inventory records
- Nutrition goals and tracking data
- Household membership and invitation data
- Photos uploaded to the recipe pool
- Photos uploaded to create a recipe from a photo via text recognition (OCR) — the uploaded image stays on our server even if the recipe is never saved
- Photos attached to inventory (stock) records
- Shopping receipt photos (if uploaded)
2.3 Technical Data
- IP address (for security logging and rate-limiting)
- Browser type and operating system (for error diagnostics)
- Application and security logs — may contain identifiers such as username, email, and IP address for abuse prevention, authentication, and error diagnostics (retained 90 days per §5)
- Signup record — the IP address and User-Agent string of the account-creation request, the time the record was created, plus a pseudonymised account identifier derived by irreversible hashing from your Google sign-in subject where there is one — accounts created by an administrator carry no such identifier. Kept solely for abuse prevention (detecting repeat signups) and retained 90 days per §5.
2.4 AI Processing
AI-assisted meal planning works in one of two ways: if you have added your own API key (BYO — Bring Your Own Key), requests run through your own provider account; if you have not, requests run on Plateby's own provider keys and count against your account's weekly meal allowance. In both cases, during generation meal names and your dietary preferences are sent to third-party AI providers (OpenRouter, Groq, Anthropic, Google Gemini). Because these preferences may reveal dietary, health, or religious information (e.g. allergens, excluded ingredients, halal/vegetarian choices), they may constitute special-category personal data under GDPR Art. 9 / KVKK and are processed only with your explicit consent, solely to generate plans.
2.5 Subscription and Purchase Data
The Plateby Pro subscription is sold through Google Play. Your payment details (card number, billing address, etc.) never reach Plateby; Google collects and processes the payment. To verify and maintain your subscription, we receive from Google Play and store on our server:
- The purchase token and the Google order number
- The product and base plan id (monthly / annual)
- The subscription state (active, cancelled, in grace period, etc.), its expiry date, whether the purchase has been acknowledged, and the time of the last subscription event received from Google
This data is used solely to unlock your Pro access, to track renewals and cancellations, and to resolve purchase disputes; it is never used to target ads or to profile you.
2.6 Advertising Data
Plateby's mobile app shows ads on free accounts; the ads are served through Google AdMob (a banner anchored to the bottom of the screen, and a full-screen ad while you wait for a plan to be generated). The web version at plateby.app carries no ads, and while a Plateby Pro subscription is active the app requests no ads at all. When an ad is requested, the following reaches Google directly; Plateby's server never sees or stores any of it:
- Advertising ID (
AD_ID): The per-device advertising identifier Android provides, which you can reset from system settings. The app declares this permission (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) together with the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
- IP address, device and app information: As with any network request your IP address reaches Google, and Google may derive an approximate country/region-level location from it; the device model, OS version, screen size and app version are also sent with the ad request.
- Ad interaction: Whether an ad was shown, dismissed and clicked.
- Install source and measurement interfaces: The SDK declares the permission to read the Google Play install referrer (
BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE) and Android's ad measurement interfaces (ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_CUSTOM_AUDIENCE); these are used by Google for ad measurement and fraud prevention.
The content in your Plateby account is not sent to the ad network. Your meal plans, recipes, dietary preferences, email address, household data and subscription record are never sent to AdMob in any form, and ads are not targeted using them. Plateby receives only aggregate impression and revenue reports from Google, which cannot be broken down to an individual.
Consent (EEA — European Economic Area — and the United Kingdom): In these regions Google's UMP (User Messaging Platform) consent form is shown before the first ad request, and your choice is stored on your device by Google. If you do not consent, the app requests no ads and keeps working with all of its other features. Where Google does not require a consent form, none is shown and ads are served as part of the free tier (§4).
3. How We Use Your Data
We use collected data exclusively for:
- Account creation and management
- Delivering meal planning, shopping list, and recipe services
- Operating the household sharing feature
- Security, authentication, and rate-limiting
- Monitoring app performance and resolving errors
- Serving ads in the free mobile tier (§2.6)
- Complying with legal obligations
The content in your account — your plans, recipes and dietary preferences — is not used to target ads, and none of your data is ever sold to third parties. Which data is processed for the ads shown in the app is set out separately in §2.6.
4. Legal Basis (GDPR)
- Performance of a contract: Data necessary to provide account and core services
- Legitimate interest: Security, error diagnostics, and service quality
- Consent: Optional notifications and third-party AI integration
- Explicit consent (special-category data): Processing of dietary preferences that may reveal health or religious information for AI meal planning relies solely on your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 9 / KVKK Art. 6).
- Advertising: In the EEA and the United Kingdom, serving ads and processing the advertising ID rely on the consent you give through Google's UMP consent form; if you do not consent, no ad is requested (§2.6). Outside those regions, ads are served on the legitimate interest of sustaining the free tier; a Plateby Pro subscription removes them entirely.
5. Data Retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active.
- Upon account deletion, your personal data is permanently erased within 30 days, with two exceptions described below: the security and abuse-prevention records (deleted at the end of their own 90-day retention) and the subscription record (kept, with its link to your account severed, for the applicable statutory retention period).
- Security logs (IP addresses, session timestamps) are retained for 90 days.
- The signup record (IP address, User-Agent, signup timestamp, pseudonymised account identifier) is retained for 90 days for abuse prevention. This retention survives account deletion: the link to your account is severed and the record is deleted at the end of those 90 days.
- Receipt images are automatically deleted 180 days after upload.
- Advertising data is never stored by Plateby (§2.6): the ad request goes from your device straight to Google and never passes through our server. Google's own retention of that data is governed by the Google privacy policy. The only traces kept on the device are UMP's consent record and the timestamp of the last full-screen ad (§7); both are removed when you uninstall the app.
- The subscription record (purchase token, order number, product/plan id, subscription state and expiry date) is retained for accounting and for resolving purchase disputes, for the statutory retention period that applies to commercial and financial records. When you delete your account, the record's link to your account is severed (the user reference is removed) and the record itself remains as purchase history. Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription itself in Google Play; you must cancel it through Play.
6. Data Sharing
We share your data with third parties only in the following cases:
- Household members: Users you invite to your household can see your plans and shopping lists.
- AI providers (OpenRouter, Groq, Anthropic, Google Gemini): Meal names and your dietary preferences (which may include health/religious information) are sent to the provider to generate plans — via your own API key when the BYO feature is enabled, and via Plateby's own key when it is not (§2.4).
- Translation (MyMemory / Translated S.r.l. — EU / Italy): Recipe and meal text is sent to the MyMemory API for translation into your chosen language when not already cached.
- Email delivery (Resend — EU / US): Verification and account-notification emails are sent via Resend.
- Push notifications (Google FCM / Apple APNs — US): If you enable push, notifications are delivered through the relevant platform push services.
- Nutrition data (USDA FoodData Central — US): Only generic food names are sent to look up nutrition values; no personal data is transmitted.
- Google Play (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC — EU / US): Purchase, renewal, and cancellation of the Plateby Pro subscription are handled through Google Play, and Google collects the payment. At purchase time your Plateby account identifier is passed to Google Play so the purchase can be matched to your account. The purchase token is sent to the Google Play Developer API to verify that your subscription is valid, and Google notifies our server of subscription state changes.
- Google AdMob (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC — EU / US): Ads shown in the mobile app on free accounts are served through Google AdMob. With each ad request, your device's advertising ID (
AD_ID), IP address, device/app information and ad interaction are sent to Google (§2.6). No content from your account is sent.
- Legal obligation: When required by a court order or applicable law.
No data is shared with any third party for analytics or marketing. The only data shared for advertising is what the Google AdMob row above lists, and none of it is shared while a Plateby Pro subscription is active.
7. Cookies and Local Storage
No advertising cookies are used on Plateby's website or in the app interface; the ads in the mobile app work through the device's advertising ID rather than cookies (§2.6). Local storage (localStorage / IndexedDB / device preferences) is used only for:
- Session token (required for authentication)
- Language preference
- App cache (PWA offline support)
- The timestamp of the last full-screen interstitial ad — kept on the device so the same ad is not shown too often; it is never sent to our server.
- The UMP consent record — your advertising consent choice, stored on your device by the Google Mobile Ads SDK (§2.6).
8. Security
- All communications are encrypted via HTTPS (TLS 1.2+).
- Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes and never in plaintext.
- User-provided AI API keys are protected server-side with Fernet encryption (AES-128-CBC + HMAC-SHA256).
- Database backups are taken as consistent dumps, encrypted with
age, and stored off-box (off the production server); restores are tested regularly.
9. Your Rights
Under GDPR you have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure (Right to be forgotten): Request deletion of your data.
- Objection: Object to certain processing activities.
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
To exercise these rights, write to [email protected]. Requests will be responded to within 30 days. You can also delete your account directly from Settings > Delete Account in the app.
10. Children's Privacy
Plateby is not directed at children under the age of 13. If we become aware that data has been collected from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.
11. Changes to This Policy
Material changes to this policy will be announced via in-app notification or email at least 7 days before taking effect. The current policy is always available at plateby.app/privacy.
